Homemade Tree Decorations

Here at Unpackaged we have been prepping for Christmas by making some lovely, inexpensive salt dough christmas ornaments, fun for all the family and a great way to cut down on packaging! Here is our recipe:

450g plain flour
225g table salt
200ml water

  1. Combine all the ingredients to form a dough.
  2. Roll out till about 1/2 cm thick; use any christmas cookie cutter to cut the shapes (if you don’t have any, create a cardboard template).
  3. Punch a small hole for hanging (use a straw).
  4. Bake at 170c for 30minutes
  5. Decorate with paint, glitter, pens and stamps. Then tie some ribbon through the hole and hang them up! Remember, do not eat!

The Bar and Restaurant at Unpackaged are closed today for the installation of our new Christmas pop up, The Boxing Club, which will be open from Friday 8th November!

The Unpackaged shop is open for business as usual.

The cafe will be open from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Wednesday this week, serving coffee & a small menu whilst we install our Christmas pop up bar & restaurant – opening night Thursday 7th November!

The shop is open as normal 9am – 8pm!
